This LPA considers what liabilities can arise, and how the consultant can protect his position, in circumstances where he has completed a report for his original client and later his client assigns the benefit the contract (which will include the right to rely on the consultant’s report) to a third party (for example, a developer who is purchasing the site from the original owner).
