The purpose of this guidance document is to provide information and recommendations on planning for the safety of overwater working in the UK ground investigation industry. It aims to assist employers, supervisors, and workers in identifying and managing hazards associated with working overwater during ground investigation activities. In addition, compliance with relevant legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, is essential in maintaining a safe working environment.
