AGS 4.2
AGS 4.2 introduces changes to the following areas of the dictionary, the Rules remain unchanged:
- Static Cone Penetration and Dissipation test data – the existing groups ‘SCPx / SCTx’ series have been deprecated, the new data groups are located in ‘CPDx / CPTx’ series
- Pressuremeter Test – new data groups for Ménard Tests (PMMx) and new data group extensions for parameters (PMTP) and zeros (PMTZ). Pressuremeter Test Data (PMTD) has some revised data types.
- Flat Dilatometer / Dissipation Test – new data groups ‘DMDx / DMTx’ series
- In situ Seismic Testing – new data groups ‘ISTx’ series
- Monitoring installations and instruments status – new data group (MONS)
- Test operator included in all in situ groups
- In situ thermal conductivity new data group (ITCH)
- California Bearing Test Readings – new data group (CBRP)
- ERES has been removed from AGS 4.2; ELRG should be used instead
- IPRG/IPRT groups have been removed from AGS 4.2; FGHx groups should be used instead
- Advanced testing groups ‘CTRx / RESx’ series have been deprecated in this document. The AGS document ‘AGS-L’ should be referred (publish in early 2026).
A change log is available to Registered Organizations of the AGS Data Format to detail the specific amendments from AGS 4.1.1 to AGS 4.2.
