Instrumentation and Monitoring – Data Driven Actions, is a two-hour webinar taking place between 11:00-13:00 on Thursday 19th February.
Chaired by AGS Instrumentation and Monitoring Working Group Leader, Tim Clegg (Managing Director of Geosense), this webinar will provide a multi stakeholder perspective of how data is the key foundation for making decisions within the geotechnical industry.
This virtual event will see presenters Phil Child (Seequent), Alice Shrubshall (BuroHappold) and Steve Walthall (Retired Engineering Geologist) each provide a presentation which will collectively focus on the following areas:
-Setting yourself up for data success
-How to ensure useful and good quality data
-Monitoring in the real world
-Using data to make decisions
The webinar will finish with a group Q&A which will allow webinar attendees to ask questions from our four speakers.
Attendees can expect to learn how to build solid data foundations, how to maintain these through the project and how this data is used in the real world to support bridging the gap between assumption and reality.
This webinar is aimed at all levels from asset owner to data user, and will give practical steps on how to gather useful data to drive decision making.
