CAS-Code*

Must be a compliant CAS-Code and have passed CAS-Code checkers. Any non-compliant CAS-Code will be rejected.

CAS-Code Description*

This should be the commonly accepted, recognisable name, which can include brand names. Care should be taken to ensure the description is sufficiently clear to distinguish between closely related compounds. The committee reserves the right to modify the proposed description to ensure clarity and consistency with precedents already set.

CAS-Code Justification*

Please provide sufficient information to ensure there is no uncertainty as to what the proposed new code refers to. For CAS Codes please include the relevant link to any CAS registry system used (eg. Pubchem, CommonChemistry etc). If possible, please use more than one database to confirm the CAS-code and record this in the justification box. This is to streamline the approval process and will be visible on the AGS website.

P-Code Description*

This description needs to be sufficiently specific and detailed that the reader has no uncertainty about which determinand this code represents (and can be included as part of the justification below). The committee reserves the right to modify the proposed description to ensure clarity and consistency with precedents already set.

Please provide sufficient information to ensure there is no uncertainty as to what the proposed new code refers to. For CAS Codes please include the relevant link to any CAS registry system used (eg. Pubchem, CommonChemistry etc). This is to streamline the approval process and will be visible on the AGS website. For example: P-Code: P04165, Description: Sum of PAH L (Scandinavia), Justification: This is a routine PAH group used in Scandinavia. It comprises naphthalene, acenaphthylene, and acenaphthene.
