Help on Publications Search

The search is not case sensitive.

It does not matter whether you use capital letters in the word or not, the search regards upper and lower case letters as equivalent.

By default, all words are included in the search

The search retrieves only those documents which contain all the words entered in the search box, though they need not necessarily occur together in the document. Eg entering site investigation would retrieve only those documents containing the both the words site and investigation, though not necessarily occuring next to each other. The search automatically includes simlar words, so a search for 'design' would include documents contaning design, designed, designing etc.

To exclude a word from the search

Enter a minus sign (-) at the start of the word to retrieve documents that do not include that word.
Eg enter -site investigation to retrieve documents containing the word investigation but not site.

To search for an exact phrase

Enclose it in double quotes (eg "enclose in quotes").
